This trip is especially designed for those of you who are short on time or are physically unable to trek. With the use of domestic flights and helicopters, we can now offer an exclusive journey that will make it possible to acclimatize at 2860m and then head over towards Hotel Everest View for overnight stays. Trekking is great fun but we also realize that it is not for everybody, and we are happy to offer alternative options to still be able to experience Nepal and the Everest region more deeply. A true luxury trip in the Himalayas, we offer you a comfortable acclimatization day in Lukla, a short and exhilarating mountain flight to Hotel Everest View where our heli pad is just 2-3 minutes away, and time to explore the nearby Sherpa villages and 360 degree panoramic view points while at the hotel. The helicopter shuttle from Lukla airport to the hotel and vice versa are generally available during peak season in spring (March 15th – May 15th) and in autumn (Oct 1th – Dec 5th) and we can combine the shuttle with a thrilling mountain flight around Everest Base Camp area.

Stay overnight at Hotel Everest View to maximize the experience of being one with nature. The hotel is built in such a way that it coexists with its surrounding and is surrounded by the evergreen juniper trees of the Everest National Park, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests can immerse themselves in the natural surroundings, enjoy the first rays of sun hitting the magnificent Himalayan peaks, watch the orange glow turning to a beautiful violet in sunset and the sparklingly clear night skies with twinkling stars, all the while being in the comfort of their room sipping tea/coffee. Mt. Everest is visible from all of the 12 rooms that have ceiling to floor windows. The nearby Sherpa villages of Khumjung, Khunde and famous Namche Bazaar provides excellent day trips for in-house guests, as does the 360 degree viewpoint from Khunde Peak. You can have a firsthand experience of the Sherpa culture and hospitality, spot yaks along the way and be surrounded by the giant peaks of the Himalayas all around.
